well an e6300 doesn't beat an FX60 the prices aren't comparable but it still means that not all Conroes beat AMD. that said the e6600 would be a better choice.

Well the e6300 and e6400 are allendales, correct? So yes, conroes beat AMD

no i've found that was a misconception. the e6300 and e6400 are indeed Conroes. the Allendale hasn't been released yet and apparently will be released under an e4300 and e4400 i think.
