Does anybody know the correct way to run XCOPY in WIN2K, which will allow me to mirror all the data from one HDD to another, keeping all attributes and security?
I am trying to upgrade from a disk with a faulty sector on it to a newer bigger one, and need the copy to be exactly the same as the original.

Xcopy is real good for this. I attached a text file with all of th switches that are available for use on xcopy.

Also, if you are just going to copy the exact data to the new drive, have you tried using Ghost or another imaging program?

That will do the exact same thing at a fraction of the time it would take you with xcopy.
