Motherboard/Processor Question

Laptop processor upgrades generally depend heavily on if the manufacturer releases a BIOS update that will allow the latest processor to run on it.
Especially if you bought your laptop before the manufacturer was releasing Core 2 Duo based laptops, then your current BIOS will most likely not work with it.
Check their BIOS release page for updates, you'll probably find your answer there.

OMG, my system is a big crap... According to Toshiba, the latest version supports Celeron M 390... WTF, no Core processors here? not even a Yonah.../pif

It says in ur sig. AMD64 4000+. that roughly around a FX55 lol
