The computer wont start up?!

just wondering, i have not read all the posts, i have just read about the beeping. I know its highly unlikey that this could have happened, but check to make sure that there are no metal screws connecting the motherboard to the case. Again, i did not read to see if it was a prebuilt computer or not.

yes the motherboard is connected to the case by screws is that that a problem?

oh also i didnt say this before but this happened the moment i wanted to shut off my computer so i turned off the power which all the plugs were connected to and when i turned it back on and turned on the computer was when the beeping started...

could this have caused much problems? i kind of want to know before i spend 30$ at the local repair shop you know...
