Im using an e6300, and it's really fast on stock speeds(haven't oc'd yet). I don't think it should produce a bottleneck. If it does, than that just means that the 8800 line is insanely fast. I really doubt it, but you'll probobly get just a little bit better performance with the higher end cpu's. If your on a budget i would say an e6300 is a great buy.

Well, I guess I don't have to change my processor selection. At least with this build, I'll be ready for crysis, and until then, Oblivion will look phenomenal. I'm not getting Vista just yet though, I'm getting it sometime next year.
