BUP files found on DVD-Video discs are simply backup copies of IFO files and are only needed if the original IFO on disc gets corrupted.

Step 1. Enter an empty DVDR disc in your drive and open ImgBurn (click Start -> ImgBurn -> ImgBurn).
Step 2. Create an empty AUDIO_TS folder in the same place where the VIDEO_TS folder is located.
You must definitely have empty AUDIO_TS folder and VIDEO_TS folder with your video files. Why? Empty AUDIO_TS folder is required, because some standalone dvd players want to see it is there! In this way some players check whether it's a real Video DVD or just a simple data DVD.
Step 3. Click menu: Mode -> Build, or just press Ctrl+Alt+B. After that, click menu Output -> Device.
Step 4. Click the button to Browse for a folder as shown below:
Select the folder where VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS are located:
Step 5. Click Calculate button:
Done!
If it dont work its because the .ifo (and backup .bup) files contain menus and other information about the video and audio. The .vob files (for DVD video) and .aob files (for DVD audio) are MPEG-2 program streams with additional packets that contain navigation and search information.
To resolve this issue, start a compatible software or hardware MPEG-2 decoder (player) or Windows Media Player with a decoder installed to view the full movie. This will ensure that all DVD video features are used properly.
