holy holy woah. WTF that PSU is WAY overkill.

Your trying 580w with a C2D and a 7600gt. Most you need is is 400w if that. Since its been proven the average amount of watts for 8800gtx is only around 380 wats while using.
 
I think its a good future proof power supply and its at a good price. Your also forgetting that the 580w is peak power not constant power. I'd get an e6300 and a 7900gt instead though.

Thats true but even with that I say a 450w PSU would be plenty enough. After all im running an E6300 and a 7900gs on 430w with extra fans and lights. no problems at all.

btw its a 430w>70% efficiency
