I have an xps laptop and I want to get a new network card. What is the best NIC i can get for a laptop?

Any PCMCIA card should work fine. If you want a brand name, 3Com is still one of the best names out there.

if so can you get one for laptops?

Nope. Desktops only.

They say it's not all it's cracked up to be anyways.
