12 pipelines isn't main advantage of 6800. 6800 has 256(!!!)bit memory bus like most of modern high-end videocards. (700mhz with 256bits less faster than 1400mhz with 128bits and provides ~20Gb/sec transfer rate)

dude this is a ridiculous thread you can get a 7900 gs for around two hundred why would you waste money. just save your lawn mowing money for like three more weeks and get a card that will actually play games the way the are supposed to be played.......
