Try going with 2x512 if your going with a gig of memory, because if I recall correctly you can't run it in dual channel if you don't have to sticks, I could be, and probably am, wrong on this though lol.

Also I'd go with a Gigabyte board, or Asus, if you can afford them.

Dont go with the 1GB stick unless you plan on buying a second one in the near future. The 2X512 will perform better. The intel build looks good though man, you would be very happy with that. I would just try to read up on some articles for good overclocking mobos though.. there are obvious ones but the prices can vary..

That biostar board doesn't look too great for overclocking. Biostar is generally a crappy company. As for the power supply, $40 isn't going to cut it for that system. I'd go with something like this since your on a budget.
