def not worth it. You need to show a 6300 clocked to 2.4 and then compare it to the 6600. All i saw in that chart was cpu clock scaling. nothing out of the ordinary or exponential increase in performance. and the other link ....3.5% lmao.... Worth it?

why would you overclock a processor and compare it to a stock processor?
i would overclock both processors and see which is better and i can guarantee that the E6600 will smoke it.
maybe the 4mb l2 cache isnt being used as much by apps now but soon they will be. like around the time vista comes out i bet you will need a core 2 e6600 and up cpu, 2gb ram minimum and what not
i have a feeling application are going to start getting alot more demanding over the next year
