So your saying go with a widescreen over a 4:3 screen? i dont know why you would for gaming, i was wondering if someone could tell me. I dont care about the brand, as long as the picture is awsome and the screen is large.

20.1 Inch Widescreen Samsung 205BW.

I own it. AMAZING monitor. Very bright, very large, and a very nice stand.

I guess I just like widescreen, Its all prefrence. Go with which ever suits you. It is true though that some games dont support 1680x1050.

Even if they dont support it you can either edit the CFG files or like in Battlefield 2, Edit the Videocon file, for a custom resolution.

It's really not that hard :umm:

Widescreen FTW!

Oh yeah widescreen is the only way to go for me. Most games don't support it straight out of the box, but with one line in the console of the game almost all of them can be made to play on a native widescreen resolution, but they don't look bad if you play it at a native 4:3 resolution.

Plus widescreen is infinitely better for multi tasking. It makes it seem like you have a dual monitor setup, when you only paid for one.
