Boot to the CD. At first it will ask if you want to use the Recovery Console. Select Install Windows.
I knwo this sounds wierd. But continue on...
After it continues on it will then find your XP install. At this point it will ask if you wish to repair this install. Select Repair and it will delete the system files and put them back in.
Be forewarned that you will have to go to Windows Update and get all updates again.
