3 years old? I have a 6 year old HP that had 700 Mhz P3, 128MB PC100 RAM, 30GB HDD, and a 32MB PCI VCard lol. I had the thing for so freaking long, its currently got a 120GB HDD, 758MB RAM lol. But ****, 3 years ago you got a nice internet/general purpose box for a really cheap price. Same as the others, id love to have that thing for a linux box. My old HP is currently dual-booting Linux, And Windows XP Pro, with Virtual PC for tinkering while im working on my MCSE.
If you plan on getting some tech certifications(A+. Net+, Linux, MCP(from the 70-270 exam) id say format that thing, increase the RAM with some value ram, and use it as a study box. Dual boot linux and xp, and throw on virtual pc 4. Use it as a tinker/learning box and it'll be worth $1000's in the longrun.
P.S. and oh yeah, get a new PC hehe
