What Pre-cautions do i need to take for a new PC build?

Ive recently started to gather all the items needed for a new PC build. I have just about everything, just waiting on Mobo and Processor. Ok, so this is my first true "from scratch" build. What pre-cautions should i take when installing everything? Is there a specific way to install everything? Anything to watch out for? Ay advice would be helpful.

It is not extremely difficult, just make sure to ground yourself to avoid any damage to your components. There's pretty much one way everything can fit, so don't force anything too hard.

besure to protect from esd by using an anti-static mat,anti-static wristband,or anti-static gloves, and dont use a magnetized scrwdriver near the chips on the cards and mobo's
