I'm currently broke..and wouldnt sell until I had a new pc in hand, but I will have a job very soon for vacation. I really want conroe, GTS, 680i, etc, but IDK if I should just buy another GT and wait until august or something.

I dont know how old it is but i'm assuming not too bad so i'll go with 1450CAD. People buying second hand computers are unbelievably stingy though as I have experienced.

$600 at most. I could not see anyone paying any more than that for it. Sure, to buy the parts new it would cost a lot more, but being that it is used, it is worth half of what it would cost new.

I have a similar computer I am looking at selling. X2 3800+ 939, 2gb OCZ Platinum DDR-400, 7900GT KO Superclocked+VF900, DFI Lanparty SLI-DR, 500w Antec PSU, Samsung 18x DVD writer, 320GB IDE, 40GB IDE. A guy is going to buy it from me for $600.

thats worth a lot more new than 1200. including the monitor and everything. and i usually get about 2/3 of what it is brand new. sometimes more

would my 2.5GHz X2 bottleneck a GTS? Thats really my only concern....

It wouldn't. In fact, I'll slap my 8800GTS in my X2 3800+ system (2.0ghz) and prove that there is no bottleneck. I will compare it to my E6600 @ 3.2Ghz
