Need a Gaming System for 2k! (List provided, need Suggestions!)

As for the contrast ratio. whats the difference? there is that SCEPTRE 22" one that is like 1200:1 and there is a CHIMEI 22" one that is 800:1. about the same prices, the CHIMEI one looks a little better but idk anything and would rather have performance over looks.

contrast ratio is just the crsipsness of the screen. 2000:1 is superior to 800:1, but 800:1 is still really good, That is what mine is.

You would not notice any performance increase/decrease with either of the displays if you looked at one, then went somewhere else and looked at the other, but if you had them side by side the sceptre MIGHT look slightly, very slightly, better. Worth the price difference as of this moment? No freaking way.

so 20 more dollars for 400 more contrast isnt worth the it? it does have a 20 dollar mail in rebate also so its accually the same price.

I just think the CHIMEI looks a little better maybe its the picture it shows in the monitor idk.

Edit: more people bought the CHIMEI and has more reviews for it.

Which Chimei monitor are you looking at? These two are practically the same except for the material color.

I own the black one, and no the price difference (regardless of how much) IMO wouldn't be worth it.

I love it. It takes some getting used to, but that's just because it's widescreen and I'm used to things being square when maximized, not a rectangle. It's nice for PC gaming and gaming when I have my xbox 360 plugged in to it.

I've played Call of Duty 2 and Need for speed carbon. With carbon, since EA games is RETARDED, you have to search google for a widescreen mod since I guess they decided it would be too much of a hassle to put any widescreen resolutions in their games, *******s. But the mod is easy to do and runs the game perfectly. There's no ghosting on any monitors 8ms or under. The viewing angles from the side are nice, but the viewing angles from the top and bottom cause a lot of color change, but that's to be expected on any LCD. The stand has a nice grip system so it wont slide around very easily, and it has angle adjust (only to go up though, for example if you have it angled all the way down, it's perfect for eye level, but then you can angle it up) Not sure why they only made it to angle up since I cant really think of a situation in which you would need to be looking down at a monitor, but oh well.

I give it 9/10 which is very very good since 10 is perfect.
