i agree with ya partially bliz.

Most people probably just use win XP, so having a 64 would be a waste cause it only utilizes 32 atm. Thats why people should convert to linux. LETS GO UNIX!!!!!!!

Also I would think running a larger line of code takes longer than running a line of code half that size...

this may be somewhat true. If your running something small, P4 may be faster, but Athlon would be more efficient when your running large files

and when i said athlon is better then P4, i meant overall. Like efficiency, cost, dependability

did you know there are RISC and CISC design CPU's??
CISC=Complex Instruction Set Computer
RISC=Reduced Instruction Set Computer

CISC CPU's process more complex instructions quicker than a RISC CPU

RISC CPU's process simpler instructions quicker than a CISC CPU

fastest CPU??
did you know a single 1.6GHZ Powermac G5 processor outperformed a P4 3.2GHZ??
how much performance would you get from a dual 2.0GHZ G5 system?? - since you can't get single 1.8 or single 2.0GHZ G5's, but you can disable one CPU, still, how much performance would you get fromm a single 2.0GHZ G5 processor??
