defaging drive:problem with memory/page file

so last time i defaggred my drive i had problems with photoshop saying there wasn't enough memory to perform certain tasks. I later learned from a post here that that was a problem with my pagefile...

how can i de-frag my drive and not have these problems

you could try turning your page file off, restarting, then defraging, restarting then turn your page file back on,, i think thats the best way because it defragges the page file too,, i only added all the restarts cuz im not sure if you have to do that if your turn the page file on or off
