Which ATI Card

We are going to be starting our 2nd build in a couple of weeks.

we are debating between these two viseo cards.

X1900XT Core 625 Memory Clock 725 512MB
X1950XT Core 625 Memory Clock 900 256MB

What do you guys think, take the extra Memory Clock of 175 or the extra Memory size of 256 MB more?

I,m really not sure on this, but it will be mainly for gaming purposes.

ummm... i would say for futureness .. .the 1950 .... but future games mayyy need the 512.. either choice they are both nice cards and you should be able to oc them both

It depends on the resolution that you play your games at. 512mb of video memory is no different than 256 if you are playing at 1280 X 1024 or lower. The X1900XT 512 is a good choice but more bang for the buck comes from the 256 version. X1950 is really not much better than the X1900XTX when it comes to bench marks so if you are planning on buying an X1900 series card and do not have all kinds of money to throw around but still want awesome performance... then get the X1900XT 256mb!
