i downloaded the manual and i read that the hdd led light only acts for the ide drives. Is there anyway i can get the hdd light to work for the SATA drives? cause that is all that i have.

any sata hdd leds? or is there any way to adjust this?

Well,if the manual says it works only for IDE,I don't think you can change that...

The SATA drive should still be able to light up.

I added a serial drive into my system and the motherboard sends the signal to the light.

there is no reason why a motherboard can't have the status light function for SATA hdds, however if the motherboard specifications explicitly state it doesn't then it's probably true.
