i overclocked my gs and have no problems with anything i play at my monitors native res of 1280x1024.
actually i had no problems before i overclocked it....but what the heck.
higher res you will want a better card.
maybe you should look at the 7950gt? tho, theyze expensive

i have a 7900GS play games at 1600x1200 such as FEAR, Dark messiah with no trouble the only things I dont put on are AA and soft shadows. Everything else on max and AF x4.

Lol you prefer AF over AA? AA makes a much more noticeable difference on image quality.
