alright, this is rather noobish of me, but, the situation :

I open my display , under my 'background' tab it displays the pictures from the 'my pictures' folder.

i already have pictures put away in the 'web' folder, i don't want to have a large list of photos windows grabs just for me to stretch out across my desk top.

fix for this? basically, i don't want 'my pictures' to show up in that list.

Let me better explain, here's a screen shot :


all of the file names Ven are from the MY PICTURES folder in My Documents. how do i keep windows from going into that folder and displaying these pictures for use as a wallpaper

That is the default folder that windows looks in. No way to chage it. To prevent this from happening...change where you store your photos so they dont show up on that list.
