My "New" PC

Alright Friends, I'll be getting my final PC part for Christmas soon. What I'm interested in is what all I can throw at it. Will I be able to throw games such as Gothic 3, Oblivion, Fear, HL2, ect with now problems. Possibly even midway to max. For those of you that already have decent PCs tell me what I'm going to need for that extra boost.

Now, the only thing I'm concerned about is the CPU, but my stepfather keeps complaining to me that I'll mess up my mobo again if I put in a new CPU. I think it's a load of crap but oh well.

That build is really bad. I would be surprised if you could play new games on medium settings and have no lag with that setup.

Ya that processor is really terrible and the memory and the mobo im not sure about the only really good thing you have is a 7600GT but i would recommend the XFX series over the BFG.

The build isn't that bad. Not after I pop a 2.0 gh CPU in there. The only difference almost in this pc and many of the pcs's I've seen play Oblivion with the pretty mods is about 512 mb of RAM.

Ghz doesn't really matter. I wish it did, that way my P4 Northy would be faster than most Conroes

Then what's the problem with me running Some of these games besides that 512. But there's no way in **** I'm dishing out enough money for a new gig stick. BLECH

It's not going to last you long mate, that's all I can tell about it. The PC I got two years ago shits all over that with all due respect and it's already average at handling the newest games such as Oblivion.

Then again, for that price you can hardly go wrong...

I dont think Oblivion runs real good with 512mb.

I mean it's 512 above my gig.
And what really is wrong with my PC besides the processor. Would you feel better if I had a 2.6 gh intel that's the exact same as what I have now.
