alright last night my computer just randomly shut off and now it wont start up. its a dell 4600 dimmension the green light on the mother board is blinking. and i dont know what to do. is this fixable or is the computer a gone?

Does it not power on at all? Or does it at least go the POST screen?

if nothing happens when u press the power button then its the power supply thats dead, open up ur system and check it there are any popped or blown capacitors on the motherboard
