Megapixels DonÂ’t Matter?

yea, for instance, i got a 1MP cam that comes out perfectly clear, just a small picture, and my dads 2MP is bigger, but looks like [snipped] compared to mine

I have a 8.0MP camera and I notice a big diffrence in my dads 5MP even on 6X9 prints.

Unless you "blow up" the image into specific areas (zoom in), you really don't need the extra "Mega pixels".. 5 should be enough I think. hehe.. Mine is a 3.1 camera ..

Of course, if you are into zooming in to various areas of the picture and printing them as its own image - then it might be useful to have that extra detail stored.
