Radeon 9200 Graphics Card

Hi, I have tried to install a radeo 9200 Graphics card on my computer (PCI slot) I have downloaded the latest drivers from the ATI site and installed them. If I turn off my on board AGP in bios and enable the PCI graphics card when I boot up windows loads to the point of displaying Windows XP but then when it changes to the screen with names of people whoo use the computer to click their profile the screen is blank. If I load on safe mode it will load correctly and allow me to load the administrator profile or any other profile. Can anyone suggest what I can do next to get it to load in ormal mode please?

this is what u should of done:

-while using ur onboard uninstall the display driver first (so now u hav no display driver)
-restart, go into bios disable the onboard and enable the PCI
-plug ur monitor to the PCI card boot THEN install the Radeon driver
