Vsync & LCD Monitors

I don't think you need it on LCD's, but some guy told me he was experiencing tearing on his LCD.
As long as you don't experience tearing, there's no need for Vsync.
 
Thanks. Yes I read something about screen tearing and I don't think I've experienced that at all. I wasn't sure if it was something that should be kept on or off for LCDs.
 
without sync, when you got a pc that can outperform the normal framerates of the game, you will have a more fluid gameplay! :D

when sync is on the frames are all syncronised in order to not occour tearing so the fluid of the gameplay is always the same ....

No, your computer will still process as many frames as possible.
