Is overclocking with a VIA chipset really that bad?

the chipset will not determine the overclock speed. but it will determine the stability of your overclock.

The stability of my overclock determines the speed I overclock to.

ok lets just say if you had a nforce chipset you can get to a higher clock speed that is still stable as opposed to overclocking a via chipset. i am currently overclocking a via chipset, its a pentium 4 overclocked from 2.66 to 3.2.
