Test the batch file is what I meant..to make sure the executbale stays launched and your application you are wanting to use works correctly.

so the batch file WOULD work, even running manually, but the service won't start from the batch file..says it can't be started, yet if i actually go into the services mmc and start it manually(even tho its set to automatic) it will start.
