My System Idle Process seems to always have a high number in the CPU column. Is this bad?

I've done a bit of searching and downloaded the Processes Explorer and it said that the Hardware Interrupt was causing it... I took a screenie.

What do you think? Is this a problem? How can it be fixed?

system Idle process is meant to be high, its when your system is well idle its not doing anything if you run another app u`ll see that cpu idle process usage go down and applied to that app.

Think it through... system IDLE... as in not doing anything.

System Idle is the percent of your system's capability that is basically just sitting there twiddling its thumbs.

thats right! System Idle is the difference from the computer full load 100 to the using resources
so for example if you are running a program that is using 20% of systems resources then the IDLE PROCESS is at 80% -> this means that 80% of cpu load is free!!!
:D
