It's Corsair Value Select DDR400 (2x512, bought as a pair).

I know nothing about CAS Latency etc, what can I change to make it run faster? And why is it only running at 193MHz?

Any pointers would be appreciated...

EDIT: I've just spotted the memory divider! There's no option to change that in the BIOS, so I guess it's automatic....

Lol, I'm not trying to "Overclock" it as such, that would involve upping the clock speed, which I don't have the option to do because of the automatic divider. I'm just trying to work out which of the other settings i can try changing to increase performance. Ie: I have no idea whether memory performs better if the CAS Latency is 2 as opposed to 3. Is higher better? That's the question really...

Ok. But I've read mobo reviews that say things like "The bios automatically set the CAS latency to x, our RAM should run at y, and when we changed it to y, it ran faster." (It might have been command rate, or something else)

Not arguing, just telling you what I've heard...

I think i'll leave it all alone...

oh the motherboard is probably just adjusting it for stability.

It would be best to just leave it alone.
