should not graphics drivers be part of the multimedia library (winmm.dll). likewise is the basic audio driver part of the winmm.dll?

winmm.dll is an API for basic multimedia functions & will not contain any video or audio drivers.

i thought the midi driver & synthesizer drivers can be accessed through winmm.dll. in that case isn't the midi & synthesizer driver advanced multimedia functions
