Hi guys, I'm building a new rig simply because I want a new computer to play with. However, before I buy I'd like to get some feedback on the hardware incase I've overlooked something as far as quality goes, also if any of it could be replaced for something that would perform better without dishing out substantially more cash.

Major questions would be:
1. Buffalo or Corsair I've heard good things about both but the Buffalo is a little cheaper even with the 40 dollar rebate on the Corsair would appreciate suggestions on which one to go for.
2. On the Lite On drive didn't really research in tons of depth or anything so if there is anything better in that price range would give a cookie and or thanks to anyone who could give me a heads up there.
Note:
Not really so much a question as saying that I will be getting an additional slower HD for storage and backup on my files unless someone wants to tell me I'm retarded for getting the raptor before a slower bigger drive. Kind of locked up on money so the extra hd (or bigger raptor) isn't really an option for another couple of weeks at least but I don't use alot of my HD anyway on this computer that I've had for two years.
Will primarily be used for games but I'm a fan of the 6600's bigger cache so I don't want to downgrade Procs for an 8800GTX unless again I'm completely clueless and that would be the way to go.
Having said all that thanks for any input I may recieve (if any at all) and thanks for your time.
Question on the mobo. Will it be able to give me nice performance out of my other parts, as there is no point in spending all this money on nice gear and having a mobo that can't push it.
