450 $ Budget Pc

My friend wants me to build him a pc. His budget is 450$ and within this budget he will need. Cpu amd, mobo, ram, video card,hard drive, case, psu. I'm looking for some parts but i want to know what you people would choose as well. He wants to play some games but nothing that requires anything above a 7600 gs.

Umm, Wow that's tough, you're pretty much gonna have to scrape the bottom of the barrel on everything. Your best bet might be to go older on the motherboard, something that will require a 20 pin PSU since it should be pretty cheap. Is there any parts you could give him or sell him possibly? To make things a little easier, right now that seems like it would be a huge challenge and he might not get what he's looking for with that money. It might even be better just to buy a compaq prebuilt with an AMD in it or something of the likes.

Your friend probably wont get better than onboard video, just a heads up Unless he goes really cheap on a CPU... I'll try though..

You or your friend knows how to overclock, right? If you do, the processor I'm choosing will give a much better value when it's able to increase it's speed by over 33% easily :\
