ECS mobo+Athlon 2600 is this good...

Hi. I am still looking around to check prices so I can build my first computer. Today I went to a local small computer shop and they have a ECS mobo (don't remember the model) with a AMD 2600 XP installed (on mobo) for about $200.00 Canadians. Is this a good price? or should I go for a better mobo, Asus for example so it will last longer in the long run?

dont get a ecs every1 who ive known to have on of them has had problems and from bout 7 that ive seen ppl ony 1 still works, and even that crashes more off the more ram in it :s get an asus or msi both far better boards.
