ok i have about $2000-2500 to buld a computer i really dont know alot about computers but i will be using it for gaming photo editing everyday tasks i really like the intel core 2 duo x6800 i would like to use that cpu if i can thanks in advance

i think it overclocks better imo
its out of stock right now though

But is the overclockability of it worth the 70 extra dollars? Guess its up to the buyer.

x6800 is 3 times the price but not 3 times the performance. I would suggest getting the e6600 and over clocking it. If you got the money then go for it. I'd rather spend my money on a 8800gtx or a raptor HD or better ram, but thats just me.
 
how do you over clock im new to computers pretty much ive used but nothing else yeah i wasnt thinking when i posted that i didnt have enough for the x6800 how much better is the gtx over the gts also whats some better ram.
