Whats the worst overclock on core2?

I know each chip is going to be different but I'm always hearing people say that their getting really high overclocks like e6300 doing 3.8ghz on stock cooler.

Has there been any chips that haven't be able to get to 2.0ghz with a good setup?

Whats the average overclock for a c2d?

I dont think I have heard of a 1.8ghz e6300 can go to 3.8 maybe 2.9~

but anyways I am sure the worst overclock would be on a DOA lol

I think somebody got the E6300 up to 3.15

i've heard of people getting e6300 higher than 3.15, i've seen 3.4+

i think hes asking if there has been c2d's that have not been able to OC well. I have not heard of any that have not been able to OC decently, but there will allways be lemons

i've went up to 1.5 volts... far from stock its scarry... i really wanna go higher

Idiotec got his E6400 to 3.7Ghz

yeah....i can't get myn past 3.3 ghz with stablility. I got it to 3.4ghz on 1.4vcore and it failed orthos in 5min i tried past 400fsb(the whole high 300's NB strape thing on my mobo), but it wouldn't even boot to windows on 1.45vcore ...but 3.3ghz of conroe is still nice
