Dual Monitor issues

Got a 22" Westinghouse and a 19" HP monitor hooked up to a 512 MB X1600 card. Everything is set-up and working fine except for when I start the computer up and the Westinghouse resets itself below the native resolution. I looked at the Setting menu on window's properties and it recognizes the HP but shows the Westinghouse as a Plug and Play monitor. Could this be the issue? And how do I tackle this annoying glitch?

In case you're wondering, I can set the Westinghouse back to it's native resolution after it resets itself. After I do this every time I start-up, I don't have to do it again until next time.

have you tried going to the manufactures website and downloadin the drivers, or did the monitor come with a cd-rom with the drivers on it?

No CD came with the monitor. And the website shows no driver downloads. I have the latest ATI drivers also. The manual for the monitor says it's a plug and play monitor. Maybe this is the downfall to having it set-up that way.
