I'm hooking everything into my new motherboard and I want to be sure the power supply I have will work.

I'm using an Intel Pentium D 840 3.2GHz mobo and a power supply that came with the computer. The computer was using an AMD motherboard so I've had to get a new video card because Intel's mobo's don't have AGP slots etc. and I want to know this power supply will work with an Intel mobo. Would all power supplies work with new motherobards or do I need to check for a specific compatability?

The Intel Pentium D's product guide says:

Power Supply Requierments
Platform Compatibility Guide

05B - 12V2 rating of 16 A continuous and 19 A peak current for 10ms

05A - 12V2 rating of 13 A continuous and 16.5 A peak current for 10ms

04B or 04A - ATX12V (version 2.0 or greater) compliant Power Supply.

My power supply says ATX 12V on it. A google search for it's product # brought me to

here.

Would this power supply be capable of working with my new mobo?

Yes and no, It depends on the power supply your using now.
Not knowing this information i would say No, because the Power supply you linked is only 420 Watts continious and 13 Amps on the 12V rail, However I really want to know the specs of your current one, it may turn out that you don't even need a new one.
Quality wise I would also say no.
