finding a process' purpose....

In my task manager I have a process running called RTHDCPL.exe Sometimes it takes about 20k of mem usage. I want to find out what this is used for, before I try to disable it. I try to find it out in computer management>services, but it's not listed.

rthdcpl.exe is a process belonging to the Realtek HD Audio Control Panel.

Thanks for the help guys. I've been able to disable several processes that were taking up some memory, without worrying what they were for.
