software for controlling fans...

What software do you guys recommend if there are any, to control fans...because this fan that I just got sounds like a freakn jet, and it's very annoying. Also it's a four pin molex connector. I don't know if that will be detected since it's not connected to the motherboard. This is the fan I got:

This thing is not 30dBA like it says, I have another fan that's 35dBA and it's much quieter. This jet fan is louder then the rest of my system's noise combined.

Well first check the software u have for ur mothereboard. If that didnt come with anything useful try speedfan. http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

I tried EasyTune5 that came with my mobo, but I don't see any settings for any fans except for the CPU. So I will try speedfan.

EDIT: Just tried speedfan. It doesn't seem to detect any fans, except the CPU fan.

yah it didnt work for me either, but i have heard of some success with it. if its an option just buy a fan controller bay.

It looks sleek and a nice price too. If anyone has owned this before...how is it? And does this look like a good fan controller? Thanks...too bad newegg didn't have them.

EDIT: wow I just checked several places for these, and all were out of stock...must be good..
