Integrated graphics problem :/

hey, i have an Asus A8N-VM mobo with nVidia GeForce 6100 integrated graphics. ive installed all the drivers and gotten the updates, also installed directx. but whenever i go to play a game the screen goes blank and and theres a line down the middle(diagonally).

un-install the driver and re install it again ..
if it didnt work .. try installing defferent version of the driver !

What games are you trying to play?
The GeForce 6100 IGP is designed of course not to be a gamer's best friend but for the entry-level segment looking for a media or HTPC setup.

just the regular games. like source, DoD, GTA:SA, and ET(main game). nothing that would take mad graphics to play.

there still might be trails left behind after uninstalling drivers to get rid of them permanently download this, run it and install a fresh new driver:

go to display properties, advance, them click adapter. tell me how much megabytes is set up

in the BIOS is it set up as on-board video?

What would it be under in the BIOS.

You would be looking for something such as "Primary graphics" The option should say "integrated" or "on board" but im sure it already would say that because that would be the default setting. guess it don't hurt to check.
