ZIP files in Windows 2000? Why do I have to use WinZip?

I also know you can compress files in 2kserver (and probably pro) and browse them like they were a normal folder. They appear in green lettering. Is that what he's talking about????

Real time compression like something UPX would do? Or something like creating a zip file? I know win2k pro doesnt come with any ziping tool. For that I just install FreeZip, really simple. It makes it so you can just dobleclick zip files and it extracts right there. I also use winrar for other things. I have used stuffit and I liked its sendto feature.
