Is 114ºF high for an amd athlon 64 x2 4200+ socket AM2?

That is without playing games for about 20 minutes. So that 20 minutes should've been enough time to cool down the computer and i had my fans on high that full 20 minutes.

So i think that the 114ºF is the load then.

I have 2 80mm fans and the cpu fan.

I am thinking about taking out a 120mm fan out of my other pc and putting it in this one.

the pc probe that came with my mobo said 60ºC but oh well.

That pc probe also says that the cpu fan is moving to slow.

The cpu fan is moving at 2472rpm's. so what should i do?

The computer is the third in my sig.

Is that pc probe right? It says that the max temp for the cpu is 230ºF?

If thats true then i guess i will do some overclockin.

yea.. thats the point wen it starts to melt.... and stop working.... but u wont reach 230F, ur computer will just do random restarts wen u reach 80C

No Freakin way!!!!!!!!!!

You don't want to even come close to those temp's,It would probably burn out before that even,A good temp for the X2's are in the 30 to 35*c range at idle and about 45*c top's for load,Try using a couple thing's like MBM5 and speedfan to see what your temp's are,If they are reporting about the same you either have a faulty temp sensor or heatsink not sitting properly,Get back to me after your done checking it out more.

It says 32ºF for case cpu and everything.

My case isn't 32ºF.

My cpu fan went up to 3600 rpms
