Removing CPU heatsink

lucky...tho mine runs about 80F (i dont know the Celcius conversion, but its freaking cool, maybe cause its a Pentium2(which run very cool anyways) 400mhz downclocked to 333)

my mobo wont let it run at full speed...gay, but it runs soo cool i dont even need a fan

wow... mines idles at 34-37C but after the "burn in", it should be 30-35C (im hoping)

hmmmm. my cpu idles at 40C with AS5, before it idled at 43C. but at fullload with AS5 is only reach 45C, before i applied AS5 it reached 51C

On my first AMD build, I fried the CPU... I used a themaltake something or other 7 with a huge orange 80mm fan on top of it.... CPU was an AMD 2200+ XP, didn't use thermal paste (stupid n00b) and needless to say the system didn't live long enough to POST.... the CPU CORE was FUZED to the bottom of the HSF.... not stuck, I mean it FUZED with it.... chizzled it off with a screwdriver, and a nice chunck stayed attached to the HSF.... SO, I got an AMD 2400+ XP and that is my current folding system, on STOCK cooling.. lol

I learned my lesson from the $250 fried CPU.
