Can´t play mPeg4 files

Well, I tried playing a mpeg4 movie file, but the quicktime player always crashes

Anybody who could help me?

Well you could try googling quicktime alternative and se if that would work. Also you can try using the KLite Codec Pack. Pne of those should help.

that´s the error message I get when trying to play it, codecs are installed, and VLC does not work,too
