I have Enermax 600W SLI power supply.

http://www.enermax.com/english/prod...ay1.asp?PrID=24

I want to know that does this powersupply will work fine if these components are used.

The components detail is two (MSI) Geforce 8800GTX Graphic cards, (BFG tech) nForce680i motherboard, (Intel) X6800 core2Duo Processor, (Corsair) Dominator TWIN2X2048-6400C4D* memory, (westerndigital) Raptor X Hard disk, (Creative) Xi-Fi Fatality1 sound card and DVD writer and Combo drive.

...well I would think you would need more, the 8800GTX will eat most of it then you have an Nforce 680i which is more power hungry than other mobos and the X6800 core 2 duo takes lots of juice too.. I would go for a 800W PSU or more. I could be wrong though :D

600watt is a fair bit of power you know! it "should" be fine with that psu, but i wouldnt want anything lower than that

How do you Calculated?

Kindly tell me how do you reached to the conclusion that 600Watts is sufficient or not? Answer in detail:)

i dont trust thosoe psu calculators because it says he needs 425watts when the 8800gtc needs atleast 450 by itself
