Hiya,
Originally i was going to upgrade my PC but due to lack of funds at present i have decided to save until Feb - Mar 07 and do an upgrade then.
In the meantime i am going to upgrade my GFX card but was wondering in terms of performance which would be better
GeCube ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB GDDR3 VIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (AGP) - Retail

or
BFG GeForce 7600 GS OC 512MB DDR2 HDTV/DVI (AGP)
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Nvidia_AGP_Graphics_Cards.html
I know one is 256mb ddr3 & the other is 512mb ddr2 but how much difference in performance would there be?
Current Spec
AMD 3000 64 (754 Socket)
1536mb Ram
160gb HDD
Windows XP Home Edition
GEForce FX5700 256mb ddr
230w PSU
I expect i will have to update my PSU also.
Cheers for any help
