RAM question

I have only two slots for RAM. I have 4 different sticks. There are 3 128MB sticks of PC2100 266 MHZ (all different brands) and 1 256 MB PC2700 333 Mhz. Which combo will give me best performance for daily tasks? I am NOT a fan of mixing RAM, but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I understand that if the 333 Mhz is installed along with the 266 Mhz, it runs at 266, but does the total amount make up for the decreased speed? These are going in an HP machine with a 2.8 GHz P4.

the amount doesnt make up for the speed really, its basically a bottleneck u have more ram at a slower speed, basically trying to fill more space with a slower speed, doesnt really make up for it, mixing the 256 and 128 would be ok but you would see no speed difference or performance difference if you put 2 128
